eperi Blog Shortlisted in the European Cyber Security Bloggers Awards 2018

17 May., 2018

We’re thrilled to announce that the eperi Blog has been shortlisted in three categories for the 2018 European Cyber Security Bloggers Awards: Best Corporate Security Blog, Best European Corporate Security Blog and Best New Security Blog.

eperi blogWe’ve been informed that we are now in the second stages of the voting rounds, having been nominated by our peers, which means that until the 1st of June, final public votes can be cast. The judges, consisting of Brian Honan from BH Consulting, Dan Raywood of Infosecurity Magazine, Javvad Malik from AlienVault, Quentyn Taylor CISO for Canon Europe and Jack Daniel from Tenable, will then have the last word and finally, the winners will be announced at the security blogger’s meet up on Tuesday, 5th of June to coincide with Infosecurity Europe, held at Kensington Olympia.

The European Cyber Security Bloggers Awards recognize the best blogs and podcasts in the industry, as voted by peers, making it an even more sought-after prize. eperi is pleased to be recognized as one of the best security blogs around, having delved into the issues and news surrounding the new European General Data Protection Regulation and touting the importance of encryption, anonymization and tokenization for the past year.

Perhaps Brian Honan from BH Consulting and host of the awards, sums it up best: “Cyber security issues touch everyone’s life in some form or another; whether it’s in the workplace or personal use of the many devices and applications we use in our day to day lives. The European Cyber Security Bloggers Awards are designed to recognize the very best blogs and podcasts that help keep us up to date with the latest security advice and vulnerabilities – which is no easy feat in today’s security landscape.“

If you’ve found eperi’s insight useful over the past year in understanding the cyber security landscape in particular with reference to GDPR and data protection, we’d love you to vote for us:
